Education
KCAR offers its members various avenues for professional development through educational initiatives. Members have ample opportunities to meet their educational obligations as mandated by the Delaware Real Estate Commission. KCAR takes pride in covering the expenses of in-house continuing education courses as part of the annual membership dues, ensuring that our members can stay updated without incurring any additional costs.
Communication
KCAR employs diverse methods to disseminate information to its members. Apart from conducting General Membership meetings, KCAR ensures that our members stay informed by distributing a weekly newsletter.
Networking
KCAR organizes numerous networking opportunities for our Affiliates and fellow REALTORS® to foster connections and facilitate the growth of professional knowledge and development, particularly for our Young Professionals.
Professional Standards
KCAR effectively handles and evaluates ethics complaints submitted by both members and the public. Additionally, KCAR provides REALTORS® with the opportunity to engage in Arbitration and Mediation facilitations, enabling them to effectively resolve any business disputes they may encounter.
National and Statewide Forms
Members have access to all National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and Delaware Association of REALTORS® (DAR), state approved forms
Leadership Opportunities
KCAR offers its members various leadership opportunities, such as participation in the association's committees, serving as a member of the Board of Directors, or even becoming one of the Executive Officers. These opportunities not only enhance a member's visibility in the community but also develop their leadership skills on local, state, and national levels. Additionally, members get to meet other REALTORS® from across the state and country, which helps them build their business contacts and knowledge of the industry, ultimately boosting their confidence.
Organized Community Service Activities
KCAR is proud of its reputation for giving back to the communities it serves. Through the Social Committee, as well as the Scholarship Awards Committee, KCAR members have the benefit of serving groups and organizations in our community.
Recognition Awards
Exceptional members of KCAR are acknowledged through a nomination process by their peers. The Installation and Awards dinner, graced by leaders from all over the state and elected officials, is where the awards are presented every year.
